I. With the Dawn of your time
When the ice ages receded and the initial human teams roamed the humid valleys with the Cantabrian Sea, the lands we now contact Euskal Herria were being presently a refuge. During the caves of Santimamiñe, Ekain, Isturitz, and Aitzbitarte, nameless hands left bison, horses, and symbols that also manage to resonate today.

• Autrigones in western Biscay
These were not centralized kingdoms, but rather tribal confederations. They practiced livestock farming, transhumant herding, and Atlantic trade.

Within the ninth century, the Kingdom of Pamplona was born, which would afterwards turn out to be the Kingdom of Navarre.
For hundreds of years, it was a vital player in peninsular and European politics.
• Navarre was the middle of electrical power.
• Gipuzkoa, Bizkaia, and Álava were being linked to the kingdom at distinctive instances.
